Like humans, there is not a universal dosage for CBD, and the best amount will vary based on factors like weight, breed, and reason for taking it. Typically, the rule of thumb is to give 1-2mg for every 10 lbs. of weight, and to start with the lowest dosage possible.
This varies for each pet, but it’s generally a good rule of thumb to start out with one administration per day, and adjust as needed over time.
CBD oil for pets doesn’t contain THC, so it won’t make your pets high.
There is not enough research proving that CBD can be used to treat or cure anxiety in dogs. If you believe that your dog is experiencing anxiety, please discuss with your veterinarian about the best options.
